There
is no greater wonder in the world of nature than to witness the Northern
Lights. They appear out of nowhere, slowly and silently, growing
brighter and dimmer to some internal, unheard, rhythm. They swirl and
dance across the sky teasing the open mouthed observers with some small,
but magnificent taste of heaven.
It is a wonder not to be described as words can do it no justice. These pictures are our attempt at capturing what is truly uncapturable! |
The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis appear slowly and silently like a ghost materializing over the horizon. |
The one serious drawback is that you need to be outside at -27oC to see them. You soon forget the cold. |
They swirl over you head until they fill the sky. |
There is no end to the formations they take in their slow moving dances. |
